Jean Collin, PFSO

Mr. Collin retired from the Montreal Police Service after more than 30 years of service.  He ended his career as the Assistant to the Chief, responsible for district posting, specialized patrol and operations centers.  Over the years he occupied many posts including advisor to the management of the  gendarmerie, Chief Inspector, Assistant Director of Inquiries  - Chief Inspector,  Advisor to the direction of the SPVM - Inspector Chief, Commander of District 43 – Inspector Chief, Advisor to the quality control of recruiting – Inspector, Assistant Director of District 25 – Captain.
 
Mr. Collin manages a team of 40 investigators conducting surveillance, forensic inquiries, risk assessments and 27 persons employed in the investigations of fraud, money laundering and physical security.   During the ice storm of January 1998, he directed the command center and operational follow-up (CCSO) for the duration of the crisis.  Additionally, Mr. Collin has a perfect mastery of the English language.
